Tags, Keywords Will = More Relevant Search Results Tags, Keywords Will = More Relevant Search Results

I'm currently trying to understand the difference between tags and keywords so I can add both to all the FAQs. This will make searching and getting answers to questions you ask a lot more relevant than things are now. Right now, nothing has tags OR keywords and the search results' relevancy seems to be just appalling.

This will take some time. Everything takes time. Dammit. Maybe a few days, maybe a week, maybe longer. I don't know. Your patience is appreciated. Right now, the best thing to do is to browse the categories and questions rather than search.

I am approximately 18/201 of the way through.

New FAQs Functions New FAQs Functions

Users can comment on the FAQs. You can rate a FAQ, and you can even propose a translation of a FAQ if you know another language! You can search for FAQs, too.

We will be working on adding keywords and tags to the FAQs as we can.  Someday, you'll be able to use a tag cloud.  Not yet, though.  This will help in searches.

I will also be working on customizing the FAQs soon, so they are not so glaringly white.

Finished Adding Q&A Pairs Finished Adding Q&A Pairs

Yay!  I have finished re-adding all the question & answer pairs that were in the old database.  Next step is to add the questions that people had asked, which were in the queue to be answered.  Not sure how fast this will go, but I'll keep at it 'til I'm finished.  I  THINK I'll be able to include who asked the questions and their emails so my FAQs  Editors will have the option of mailing them a copy when they answer the question.
